Amie Engerbretson is a pro skier who understands the importance of marketing yourself and creating your own brand more than most.  Amie started as a dancer and didn’t make it in that world, so after a 4-year break, Amie decided she wanted to become a pro skier… she had a path, she’s been a ski model with a photographer dad since she was a kid, and she got a ton of coverage.  But Amie wanted more than just ski modeling, she never took no for an answer and made her dreams happen. It's a cool story.

Ross Powers had all the chips stacked against him…His life started in leg braces, and things weren't easy.  What Ross did have, though, was a strong mom and snowboarding.  He strapped in, learned to shred, started winning, and didn't stop until he was an Olympic Gold Medalist and one of the most decorated riders of our time.  On this week's podcast, we talk about his journey from Vermont to just about every podium in the world.

Robert Guerrero grew up during the intersection of the internet and inline skating. Meaning he made friends all over the world via AOL chat rooms and lived a double life…Loner student during the weekdays and popular street skater on the weekends.  Eventually, Rob G became a legend within the sport, known for both insane rails as well as some of the most creative skating ever seen.  Throughout this time, Rob lived a spiritual, nomadic lifestyle that eventually takes him to an Ayahuasca retreat in Peru.  This is where he ends up getting shot in the face at point-blank range.  Hear all the details in the podcast
